Terms of Service

These terms cover every session booked with Lamont Photography, the trading name of Damianus Lamont Photography LLC, Dallas, Texas. Booking a session, paying a deposit, or signing in at an event means you have read them and agree to them. Effective 29 September 2026. Questions go to [email protected].

BOOKING AND THE DEPOSIT

A session is confirmed when the deposit is paid. The deposit holds your date and time and is non-refundable. For sessions booked online, the session fee is paid in full at booking and counts as the deposit. For corporate days and editorial work, the deposit and the balance are set out in your quote, and the balance is due on the day of the session unless your quote says otherwise.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION

Plans move, and rescheduling is always the option. Tell me before the session starts and we pick a new date at no charge, by the link in your confirmation email or by replying to it. A session you cancel forfeits the deposit. If you do not arrive and I have not heard from you, the session is treated as cancelled. If I ever have to move a session, you choose the new date first, and if none works for you, your deposit comes back in full.

THE SESSION

You arrive, we work, and you leave knowing the frames are there. I direct, you bring yourself. Anyone under 18 is photographed with a parent or guardian present.

TURNAROUND

Your retouched images arrive within five days of the session, delivered through a private online gallery. Faster delivery is available when it is agreed before the session.

YOUR IMAGES AND HOW YOU MAY USE THEM

You receive the retouched images agreed for your session. You may use them for your own personal and professional purposes without limit in time: your profiles, your website, your company materials, print, and press. You may not sell the images, licence them to others, or present them as anyone else’s work. A credit to Lamont Photography is welcome where a credit is customary and is never required. The copyright in every photograph stays with Lamont Photography, as the law provides. Unretouched files and raw files are not part of any session.

HOW LAMONT PHOTOGRAPHY USES IMAGES

Images from your session appear publicly, on this site, on social media, or in print, only where that use has been agreed with the person in them. That agreement is a checkbox at booking or on the sign-in form at an event. You can withdraw it at any time by email, and without it your images stay private.

PAYMENT

Prices are quoted before you book and do not change afterwards. Payment is by card through this site or by the invoice sent to you. Images are delivered once the balance is paid.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute is settled in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your session.
